Obama's "Green Team": Environmental Cabinet Choices

by Travis 18. December 2008 08:46
With inauguration day for President Elect Obama rapidly approaching, it seems as though there is new position filled in his Cabinet every day. In a press conference on Monday, December 15th, 2008, President Elect Obama made the announcement as to who his Green Team would be in the ensuing administration. The so-called "Gang of Four" will consist of Lisa Jackson as administrator of the U.S. EPA, Steven Chu as energy secretary, Nancy Sutley as Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and Carol Browner who will be occupying a new position in the administration as the assistant to the President for energy and climate change. It is apparent that both President Elect Obama and his "Gang of Four" will work diligently to solve the environmental problems that we, as both a nation and as a world, are facing today.
