Are you having trouble getting your kids to remember to turn off the lights in their bedrooms, bathrooms, and closet? Well, I have found a switch that will fix that for good. Replace the normal switches that you currently have with Occupancy Sensors switches and be amazed. Making this change has been great for me and my kids. For me, I both save on the electric bill and avoid the aggravation of telling them to turn off the lights time and time again. I installed these switches in all of my kid’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets. Although the Occupancy Sensors switches still require them to turn them on manually, they work so that if there is no movement in the room in 3 minutes, the lights will turn off automatically. My son loves this system because he can lie in bed, study, and simply roll over and go to sleep knowing that in 3 minutes the lights will go off automatically. He doesn't even have to step foot out of bed to turn off the lights. You may need an electrician to install these, but they are well worth this cost. If you do try to install these yourself, make sure that you turn off the power before you start the installation. The switches that I personally used for my home are Leviton Occupancy Sensors switches. Check this website out for where you can purchase these: www.onestopbuy.com
